Encounters in the Soundscape of Davos 

Landscapes are not only visible; they are also audible. This excursion explores Davos as a place of sonic encounters: On our journey from the urban infrastructure of daily life (the Migros restaurant) through the historic spa hotel (Schatzalp) to the working alp, we listen closely: Where do tourists, locals, and seasonal workers come together? What sounds and listening practices characterize these places? What do mobility, tourism, and everyday life sound like in the mountain landscape? The sound walk invites you to perceive the landscape with your ears and discover the acoustic dimensions of meeting spaces between valley and mountain.
